The LHI team has been working diligently on many amazing new interior projects. From our classically coastal looks to our more recent eclectic contemporaries….. We are expanding our vision and loving this new direction. I wanted to take a few moments to post some of our recent “works in progress”….
This recently completed project was full of classical elements and modern transitions. We found ourselves gravitating to a stunning and textural driftwood inspired floor. This wire bushed oak flooring soon became the backdrop to our evolving palette. We introduced elements like polished Calcutta Gold countertops, gray painted cabinetry, polished silver hardware and lots of architectural millwork. One of our favorite details became the wrapped boxed beams and painted tongue and groove ceiling.
We have also had the opportunity to design in our always classic navy blue and white color scheme. This lux look is forever iconic and sophisticated with just a hint of nautical nostalgia. We re-fished an existing bookcase and painted the bead board backing a stunning glossy navy blue color. To that we reworked and re-accessorized the clients own collections. Vintage leather bound books, antique navy blue and white porcelain plates, silver picture frames and large seashells complete the look. To that we added Palecek’s incredible presidents chair upholstered in one of Ralph Laurens outdoor fabrics. We have also been working on an exceptionally stunning and classically traditional home. Bridget and I paid careful attention to each and every detail. We love the look of bright fresh colors juxtaposed with traditional fabrics and furnishings. We fell in love with the warmth and simplicity of this room.
The dining room was further accentuated with heavy casing and layers of crown molding. The room was further accentuated with the stunning Ralph Lauren crystal chandelier and matching sconces.
We are so excited and refreshed with the directions of our recent projects and are looking forward to professional photo shoots!
